We are committed to promoting inclusion, independence, dignity, and freedom of choice for every individual.About the PositionThe Quality Assurance Coordinator is an important resource for Residential Services and serves as a liaison between STAR, Inc. and regulatory agencies. This position helps maintain a strong culture of compliance and quality by preparing for regulatory reviews, maintaining policies and procedures, following up on safety-related matters, submitting required documentation, and monitoring compliance with established standards.Working in partnership with the Residential Director and group home managers, the QA Coordinator will help ensure that STAR's residential programs and properties meet the requirements of the Connecticut Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and other applicable regulatory bodies.The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, familiarity with DDS regulations and requirements, and prior supervisory experience in a residential or comparable human services setting.
