Our Print Quality Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for meticulously examining printed materials at various stages of production to ensure the product meets established quality standards. These responsibilities include color accuracy, registration, ink consistency, and overall appearance. This role will also identify and report any defects or inconsistencies to maintain a high level of print quality throughout the production process.
Job Responsibilities:
Examine printed materials for visible flaws like misaligned text, incorrect colors, smudges, streaks, or blemishes.
Use spectrophotometers to precisely measure and compare colors against specified color standards.
Verify that different color inks are precisely aligned on the printed page.
Monitor the quality and consistency of ink throughout the printing run.
Inspect paper stock for defects like wrinkles, tears, or improper sizing.
Measure printed materials to ensure they meet specified size and trim requirements.
Document inspection results, identifying issues, and reporting findings to production staff and supervisors.
Analyze defects to pinpoint potential problems within the printing process and recommending corrective actions.
Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Communicate 'Out of Spec' product and inform and documentation to supervisors and managers where training of operations coworkers is needed.

Familiarity with quality systems, management practices, and methodologies.
Proficient in using precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and CMMs.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and specifications.
Work Experience:
2+ years related experience preferred
Ability to work in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required.

High School Diploma/GED
