As a Quality Assurance Coordinator in aerospace, you will support the design, production, and sustainment of transparency products such as windshields and canopies. You will ensure compliance with AS9100, FAA regulations, and customer standards by applying quality science throughout the product lifecycle. Collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer teams, you will lead conformance efforts, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You should bring technical quality expertise, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to prioritize risks related to safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Your role involves verifying documentation accuracy, promoting a culture of quality excellence, and supporting regulatory and customer approval processes.
Qualifications include a relevant technical degree, 2+ years of experience, knowledge of aerospace quality standards, and proficiency in quality tools. Familiarity with optical performance standards and aerospace transparency materials is preferred. The position is onsite in Sylmar, CA, reporting to the Senior Site Quality Manager.
