Job Summary:
Quality Assurance professional with 2–5 years of experience in testing, automation, and scripting. The role involves working closely with development teams, executing test strategies, and ensuring product quality through manual and automated testing approaches. Experience in web technologies and familiarity with Agile environments is essential. Exposure to gaming/animation is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:- Understand and apply test methodologies, test lifecycle, and bug lifecycle processes
- Write, maintain, and execute test specifications and scripts
- Interpret project and product specifications accurately
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure product quality
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnose issues effectively
- Use testing tools relevant to the product area
- Contribute to test automation frameworks and systems
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments and coordinate with remote teams
- Manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks
- Continuously learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
Must-Have Skills:- Strong knowledge of software testing fundamentals and methodologies
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages (HTML, JavaScript, Python, Shell, etc.)
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks
- Proficiency in Jenkins (CI/CD)
- Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in Linux environments
- Ability to develop and maintain test automation systems
- Experience working with web technologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Industry Experience:- 2–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Automation
- Experience in web-based application testing
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience working with remote/distributed teams
- Gaming/Animation industry experience is a plus
- Familiarity with animation tools (Flash/Animate) and ACE certification is an advantage
- Experience with CI/CD tools like CircleCI is a plus
