IDR is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join one of our top clients for a hybrid opportunity in Denver, Colorado.
This role involves developing and implementing quality assurance standards within the Division of Information Technology Services, ensuring the quality testing of software and systems. Working within project teams, the QA Engineer will craft test cases, execute testing procedures, and potentially develop automated testing frameworks.

Position Overview for the Quality Assurance Engineer:

  • Develop and establish quality assurance standards for the division.
  • Ensure thorough testing of all software products, including in-house and commercial-off-the-shelf solutions.
  • Create and execute test cases and testing scenarios to ensure software quality.
  • Determine the need for, and potentially build, automated testing structures.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions.

Requirements for the Quality Assurance Engineer:

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant QA or automated testing experience, or 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Software Engineer in the Colorado Judicial Department.
  • Experience developing and executing test cases and scenarios for various software systems.
  • Strong understanding of automated testing processes and scripting.
  • Experience working within IT project teams in government or public sector environments (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
