Job TitleQuality EngineerAbout Our ClientOur client is a well-established and widely respected manufacturer in the metals and heavy industrial sector, currently making significant investments to expand and modernize a key production facility. They provide a stable yet forward-moving environment, with strong leadership committed to quality, operational excellence, and sustained continuous improvement.Job DescriptionReview and interpret customer specifications to ensure product compliance. Provide technical and metallurgical support to manufacturing operations. Analyze production data to identify quality issues and drive process improvements. Conduct internal audits and support maintenance of the quality management system. Investigate product nonconformance and lead root cause and corrective action efforts. Partner with operations to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures. Maintain quality documentation including FMEA, Control Plans, and related systems. Respond to customer complaints and support resolution of quality issues. Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and trials. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly operations. Experience working with quality systems such as ISO 9001 (preferred). Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment. Exposure to metals, steel, or heavy industrial manufacturing (preferred).What's on OfferSalary likely in the $70K-$90K range (or up to $100K for experienced candidates). Full benefits (health, dental, vision). 401k with ~6% match. PTO structure (2 weeks 3 weeks after first year).
