Summary:
Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements and provides objective evidence of results.
Performs auditing, surveillance, and monitoring of product quality and processes.
Identifies and documents discrepancies in materials, parts, or assemblies.
Segregates and controls non-conforming items per quality procedures.
Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance for defective items.
Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification activities.
Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
Uses precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and thread gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications to compare items against design requirements.
Uses Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation, report generation, and communication.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and thread gauges.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications.
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience performing product conformance verification and quality inspections.
Experience documenting discrepancies and non-conformances.
Experience with preliminary disposition of non-conforming items.
Experience conducting product reviews and audits.
Knowledge of corrective action processes for quality issues.
Ability to identify repetitive non-conformances and initiate corrective action requests.
