Quality Assurance Inspector

JOB SUMMARY

A Quality Assurance Inspector’s primary duty is product inspection and quality control. Product inspection ensures that Teton’s products meet the expectation of our customers. Teton produces a wide variety of products for industries such as: Aerospace, Medical, Industrial Test, Scientific, Oil and Gas and many others. Product quality control includes planning and creation of inspection plans, quality risk assessment, product inspection and records. Quality inspectors also must have strong, and professional communication skills to communicate quality requirements and findings to fellow Teton employees, Teton supplier partners and Teton’s many customers.

Requirements for Position:

• US Citizen
• Minimum of High school graduate or equivalent education
• Ability to work 9-10 hour shifts, 7:00am to 4:15pm, Monday through Thursday and 7:00am to Noon on Fridays (30 minute non-paid Lunch and two paid 10 minute breaks) and/or job may require overtime hours.

• Basic computer skills (Email, Microsoft Word and Excel)

• Experience with measurement practices and tools preferred, but not required as Teton offers on the job training.

Job Responsibilities:

• Product inspection through use of inspection tools and visual evaluation
• Knowledge of all measurement tools used at Teton
• Product Inspection plan development
• Ability to read and understand product drawings and Customer and industry standards
• Professional communication skills to communicated quality related information within Teton and also outside (Teton Customers and Suppliers)
