Position: Quality Technician
Pay: $15.50–$18.00 per hour
Location: Socorro, TX 79927
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Overtime: May be required based on business needs
Language: English required; bilingual preferred
What You’ll Do
Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections
Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement tools
Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
Identify and report defective or non-conforming materials
Monitor production processes for quality compliance
Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
Support ISO, SPC, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Work with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
Prepare quality reports and track inspection results
What We’re Looking For
Quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred
3+ years of related experience is a plus
Experience with precision measurement and inspection tools
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
Knowledge of ISO 9001, SPC, 5 Whys, Fishbone, and CAPA is preferred
Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus
Basic Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
