The Opportunity
Compensation: $129,000 â $145,000 / year.
Leadership: Manage quality engineers, inspectors, and administrators while driving continuous improvement.
Impact: Develop QA programs for complex aircraft cabin assemblies and oversee QMS compliance with AS9100 and FAA regulations.
Core Responsibilities
Implement APQP and PFMEA to create fail-safe manufacturing processes.
Manage internal and external audit readiness (customer and third-party).
Monitor Cost of Quality KPIs and identify contractual risks.
Lead corrective/preventive action processes and statistical product acceptance.
Interface directly with Supply Chain, Engineering, and customers on quality issues.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Education: Masterâs + 2 years OR Bachelorâs + 5 years of progressive experience in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
Experience: 5+ years in Quality Assurance, including 3 years in aircraft cabin interior assembly.
Technical Mastery: * 2+ years with APQP, PFMEA, and MRP/ERP systems (SysPro/UniPoint preferred).
Expertise in Boeing BAC/D6 procedures and AS9138 statistical requirements.
Proficiency in FaroArm/Verisurf metrology and technical writing for FAA Part 21/145.
Strong grasp of Lean Six-Sigma, TQM, and statistics.
