We are hiring a Quality Assurance Manager- Senior to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment.Job Description and ResponsibilitiesExperience in quality assurance and quality control of IT Systems. Experience in verification and validation, software testing and integration, and software metrics, and their application to software quality assessment. Must be capable of maintaining and establishing a process for evaluating software and associated documentation. Must be able to determine the resources required for information technology quality control. Must be able to maintain the level of quality throughout the software lifecycle. Develop software quality assurance plans. Conducts formal and informal reviews at predetermined points throughout the development lifecycle. Applies subject matter knowledge to high level analysis, design, development, modeling, simulation, integration, installation, documentation and implementation. Resolves problems, which require an intimate knowledge of the related technical subject matter. Apply principles and methods of the subject matter to specialized solutions. Includes but not limited to, environmental, scientific, maintenance and repair processes, and logistical support activities.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)Knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization, DevSecOps, and modern software development practices.Ability to architect, implement, and oversee CI/CD pipelines, automated software development toolchains, and monitoring solutions across diverse technologies.Knowledge of cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OpenStack, and containerization platforms such as Docker and OpenShift.Ability to modernize and refactor monolithic applications into secure, scalable microservices architectures using hardened containers.Experience leading DevOps methodologies, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and SAFe Agile practices within large-scale, product-centric environments.Ability to guide development teams in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and sustaining secure software solutions throughout the development lifecycle.Knowledge of configuration management, infrastructure automation, and scripting technologies, including Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt, and related tools.Ability to engineer complex technology implementations and integrate commercial, open-source, cloud, and enterprise technologies to support scalable software delivery.Desired KSABe a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situationsCandidate must communicate effectively with team members, team lead, management, and government customersMust have the ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervisionMinimum Training, Education, and CertificationsFive (5) years of relevant experienceRelevant certification from nationally recognized technical authority.8570 Baseline IAT Level IIMinimum ClearanceSecretPhysical RequirementsRequired to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
