A leading manufacturer in the dietary supplement industry is seeking a Temporary Quality Assurance Technician I to support a 6-month project at its Lake Forest, CA facility. The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for sampling components, performing physical testing of in-process materials and finished goods, managing reserve samples, completing required documentation, and supporting quality-related activities in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Essential Job Duties
Sample raw materials, components, in-process materials, and finished goods
Perform physical testing according to established procedures and specifications
Maintain reserve sample inventory and organization
Complete quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Support quality assurance activities in compliance with company standards
Identify and report quality issues or deviations
Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure compliance requirements are met
Follow all safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) guidelines
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Minimum of one year of Quality Assurance (QA) or Quality Control (QC) experience
Previous knowledge and understanding of quality compliance requirements
Working knowledge of cGMP regulations and industry guidelines
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a fast-paced production environment
Knowledge of QA/QC practices in the food, pharmaceutical, dietary supplement, or medical device industries
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Required Knowledge
Familiarity with safe work practices and workplace safety procedures
Experience using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Understanding of allergen control programs
Knowledge of proper sample collection, handling, storage, and disposal procedures
