Quality Assurance Technician I (Temporary) – 6-Month Project

A leading manufacturing company in Lake Forest, CA is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician I for a 6-month temporary assignment on 2nd shift. This is an excellent opportunity for quality professionals with QA/QC experience who thrive in a fast-paced production environment and are passionate about maintaining high quality standards.

Pay & Schedule

  • Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
  • Assignment Length: 6 Months
  • Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • Perform sampling of components, in-process materials, and finished goods
  • Conduct physical testing and inspections according to established procedures
  • Maintain reserve samples and related documentation
  • Complete QA records accurately and in a timely manner
  • Support quality compliance initiatives and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and report quality concerns and non-conformances
  • Follow cGMP guidelines, SOPs, and company quality standards
  • Ensure proper sample handling, storage, and disposal
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain product quality
  • Perform additional quality-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of QA/QC experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of quality compliance principles
  • Working knowledge of cGMP and regulatory guidelines
  • Experience in food, pharmaceutical, medical device, or related regulated industries preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
  • Familiarity with safe work practices, PPE requirements, allergen control, and sample handling procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
