What Your Day Will Look Like:

:

As a quality assurance officer, you`ll develop, implement, and managing the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program for public works construction projects. You`ll ensure that all work performed complies with contract requirements, project specifications, applicable codes, regulatory standards, agency requirements, and company quality objectives. You`ll collaborate with project management, field operations, subcontractors, inspectors, testing laboratories, and agency representatives to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality infrastructure projects.

 

Salary Range: $115k-$150k

What You'll Need:

:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Quality Control Plans (QCPs) and Quality Management Systems.
  • Establish project quality objectives and ensure compliance with contract documents, plans, specifications, and agency requirements.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to company quality standards and procedures.
  • Lead project quality meetings and coordinate quality activities among project teams.
  • Identify quality risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Get to Know Us:
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of QA/QC experience in heavy civil, infrastructure, or public works construction.
  • 3+ years in a QA/QC leadership or management role.
  • Strong understanding of public works construction practices and quality management systems.
  • Experience with Caltrans, municipal, county, utility, transportation, or water/wastewater projects.
  • Proficiency with construction documentation and project management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid California driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
