Akkodis is seeking a Quality Assurance Project Specialist for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will need to manage supplier change notifications, oversee ingredient qualification, and ensure compliance through audits and cross-functional collaboration.
Rate Range: $21/hour to $23/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Quality Assurance Project Specialist Job Responsibilities include:
Manage and track supplier change notifications from initiation through completion, ensuring timely resolution and compliance.
Qualify ingredients within the supply chain against company standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct supplier and manufacturing paperwork audits to verify adherence to quality protocols.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, procurement, production) to maintain and improve quality standards.
Analyze quality data and generate reports to monitor project progress and identify improvement opportunities.
Maintain accurate documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives in supplier change and quality processes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in food science, Nutrition Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in a regulated food or nutrition industry.
Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and ingredient qualification processes within the food industry.
Proven ability to manage supplier change notifications, conduct audits, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
