Quality Assurance Manager

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance branch of the Creative team. This includes the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols to ensure courses maintain a high standard and content accuracy is not compromised. This position plays a key role in continuous improvement of our courses and processes.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

Team Coordination

  • Proficient in of the duties of the Quality Assurance Specialist role.
  • Support the QA team by conducting regular one-on-ones, performance evaluations, and professional development planning.
  • Coordinate with Creative Leadership to ensure timely delivery of projects in alignment with departmental priorities.
  • Align projects based on individual and team strengths, project complexity, and resource availability.
  • Monitor team workload and recommend alternative scheduling or support when necessary.

Content Guidance
  • Develop, implement, and improve upon quality assurance procedures including related documentation.
  • Identify bugs in courses, write up clear and concise descriptions of the bugs, and work with relevant teams to fix them
  • Partner with stakeholders (e.g. internal and external) in a positive and professional manner.
  • Lead and participate in leadership discussions (e.g. creative leadership meetings, all hands meetings, client calls, the Content Expertise Board, PMO roadmap reviews, production control), offering insights, tracking, and recommendations to enhance overall team and product performance to nurture continued client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to competitive research and the creation of company facing PowerPoint decks to help guide strategy and innovation
  • Review and approve content to ensure consistency, accuracy, and instructional integrity.
  • Communicate updates, progress, and risks to stake holders in a proactive manner, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL RQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in food safety, education, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in food safety, workplace safety, or training environments.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities

  • Be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines
  • Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats
  • Must possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties
  • Must be customer focused and quality driven
  • Ability to travel as business needs dictate

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Previous management experience
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards
  • Experience creating and delivering presentations related to competitive research and other insights
  • Ability to thrive in a mission-driven environment, managing multiple projects with attention to detail and quality
