What you will be doing!
What we are looking for:
Education
At a minimum, a Bachelor''''s (Honours) in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or equivalent from a university of recognized standing; or membership in an engineering or scientific organization authorized by statute to establish qualification for membership in that organization.
Experience
Significant related engineering and/or science-based work experience.
Experience in a field of specialization.
Direct experience in radiochemistry, analytical laboratory operations, medical isotope manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, pre-clinical studies, or other regulated scientific environments is preferred.
Experience working within a GLP governed environment is considered a strong asset.
5 years of full-time experience in a laboratory environment with responsibility for Quality Assurance and Quality Control implementation.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent working knowledge of management systems and support processes.
Knowledge of compliance assurance, quality assurance, safety analysis, and nuclear programs, such as security, environmental protection, and radiological protection.
Strong theoretical and technical knowledge of chromatographic sciences and spectroscopic technologies.
Demonstrated commitment to quality work, adherence to standards and codes, policies and procedures.
Good oral and written communication skills, as well as good presentation skills.
Security Clearance Eligibility Required
Level 2 Secret requires a minimum of 7 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat''''s "Standard on Security Screening" and the "Policy on Government Security."

Location: Fully Onsite
This role is a fully onsite role that requires the employee to primarily work at CNL's Chalk River Laboratory site, with only occasional opportunities to work remotely, if desired by the employee. Located in the heart of the Ottawa Valley, our Chalk River site offers a beautiful natural setting with forests, lakes, and wildlife, right at your doorstep. Surrounded by welcoming communities such as Deep River, Petawawa, and Pembroke, you'll have access to unparalleled outdoor adventures and a fantastic work-life balance.
