GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Performs various functions related to customer complaints to ensure the integrity of Mission Pharmacal products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Investigates customer complaints and batch failures as required.
  2. Fields customer complaints from Mission Customer Service Department, Mission Pharmacal business customers, as well as other complaint sources.
  3. Performs complaint investigations according to Mission standard operating procedures.
  4. Works with department management and responsible parties to ensure the timely completion of investigations.
  5. Tracks investigation-related action items to ensure completion.
  6. Communicates completed investigations to business customers.
  7. Assists with Quality audit preparation and support.
  8. Assists in information gathering to support the building of Annual Product Reviews.
  9. Assists Quality Assurance Management with special projects.
  10. Perform any other duties as required or assigned.


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential duties summarized above and possess the skills and competencies summarized herein, including (i) use of various computer software, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; (ii) High school, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; E.G. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation. (iii) 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:Must be able to (i) read and understand safety, operational and technical documents, such as but not limited to policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; (ii) write routine reports and correspondence; (iii) effectively communicate information and respond to questions, orally and in writing, in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the company.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; sit, stand and/or walk for periods of time; and exhibit close visual attention to work activities.
