Quality Assurance Specialist
Location - Chesapeake, VA
Clearance Requirements - Secret
Reports directly to the VP of Corporate Growth and Compliance supporting Quality Management in accordance with the policies, goals, and objectives established by the CPO, President, CEO and Board of Directors. Supports analytical and administrative tasks related to ESN's Quality Management System; CMMI, ISO and certifications as determined by ESN leadership; process improvement; and reporting. Supports Corporate Growth objectives through measures and metrics, proposal support, strategic analysis, and duties as assigned. Assists in the management of Quality metrics to include tracking and monitoring ESN Quality Management effectiveness. Responsible for scheduling and delivering training, seminars, site visits, and internal audits.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain and ensure the currency of all corporate
- Support Corporate Growth strategic planning, analysis, and
- Monitor performance against certification standards as applicable to the quality
- Support the VP of Operations and Program Managers in the development and execution of Quality Management
- Support the tracking, certification, audit, training, and scheduling for ISO, CMMI, and other corporate quality certifications as
- Manage, monitor, and measure ESN's continuous improvement
- Monitor quality performance of current contracts as established by the QASP or other customer
- Develop and maintain quality system policies, procedures, and other
- Schedule internal quality system
- Track corrective actions and continuous improvements supporting assigned organization, process action team, and individual
- Prepare management briefings, program reviews, and reports as
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge in all areas of commercial and DoD
- Participate in special projects as required.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in area of technical expertise or a related technical or scientific discipline; or equivalent technical training, education, or work experience.
ISO-9015 Certifications (Lead Auditor Preferred)
CMMI Certifications
Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and practices associated with area of technical
- Demonstrated effective communication.
Travel associated with ESN QA Management Training and Assessments.
