Job Summary
This Quality Assurance position works closely with Quality Assurance leadership to assess and improve manufacturing processes through testing, inspection, and verification activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assure the quality of products through inspection and verification activities.
- Perform flight equipment inspections and verify compliance with requirements.
- Prepare Test Readiness Review (TRR) documentation and confirm hardware pre-test status.
- Approve work authorization documents and establish mandatory inspection points.
- Provide input to milestone reviews and boards; support and mentor Quality Assurance Specialists as needed.
- Evaluate discrepancy reports and concur on Material Review Board (MRB) decisions.
- Assess engineering changes and waivers for quality impacts; perform trend analysis of nonconformances and prepare reports.
- Evaluate inspection and test methods, tools, instruments, and processes for effectiveness; enforce adherence to published safety procedures.
- Report to a senior Quality Engineer, supervisor, or manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent). Alternatively, an Associate’s degree in these fields plus a minimum of 2 years of industrial experience, or 3–5 years of related experience.

- Completion of training in general safety, electrostatic discharge (ESD) awareness, foreign object damage (FOD) awareness, and quality system awareness.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to interpret procedures and requirements.
- Competency with desktop software applications, MS Office is required.

Additional Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- This is a Full-time position Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (No travel expected)
- Ability to work in a professional office environment and routinely use standard office equipment (computer, phone, copier, filing cabinets, etc.)
- Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
- Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to learn new tasks quickly with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time; climb; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; or crawl. Employees must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
