Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 12 months (with potential for extension based on business needs)
• Pay Rate: $30.00 $32.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day Shift, 7:30 AM 4:30 PM

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Specialist supports the retrieval, scanning, organization, and electronic uploading of production records using the company's document management system. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, follow established procedures, communicate issues promptly, and complete assigned work accurately and within project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Retrieve production records and prepare them for scanning while maintaining chronological order and accurate filing.
• Scan documents and upload them to the designated document management system in accordance with established procedures.
• Review scanned documentation for completeness, legibility, accuracy, and appropriate filing.
• Identify and communicate missing information, document errors, or process issues promptly to prevent delays.
• Maintain accurate and timely progress logs.
• Provide regular status updates to management or the project lead.
• Complete and maintain all required training throughout the project assignment.
• Follow applicable Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements, safety procedures, and site policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and data integrity when handling production records.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

Required Experience

• 2 4 years of experience working in an office setting and handling record/documentation

Required Skills

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive documentation activities accurately
• Ability to organize work effectively and meet project timelines under direct supervision
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and use document management systems

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk and stand for several hours during the workday
• Ability to work onsite in Frederick, Maryland, during the scheduled day shift
