Quality Assurance Specialist

Schedule: Monday - Friday. Some Saturdays if needed.

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00

Job Duties: • Ensure all required documentation follows the requirements of the Companys SOPs. • Document the arrival time of the vessel and receiving time of the product. • Provide information such as appearance, size, weight, temperature to Production & Sales Team. • Ensuring quality control testing satisfies regulatory requirements and delivers accurate quality information.

• Maintain and organize documents to support the production information. • Keep track of work orders & lot numbers per vessel per item being processed. • Making labels with lot information per product getting shipped out. • Data entry of information. • Reporting any mishap or safety concerns.

Job Requirements: • EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED and five years related experience in fish processing or food processing. • LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and compose instructions. Must be able to speak Spanish. • COMPUTER SKILLS • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Individual must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. • WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work in a wet environment
