Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist COMPANY BACKGROUND Quick Cable is the leading domestic manufacturer and distributor of connectors, cable assemblies, and tools in the DC Electrical Market. Position Summary: The Quality Assurance Specialist role is critical to provide expertise and Quality assurance to establish conforming products and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Support and maintain QuickCable ISO 9001:2015 certification
- Maintain calibration records and process
- Validate regulatory requirements
- Maintain an internal audit schedule and perform internal audits
- Write and review quality procedures
- Complete PPAP inspections
- Perform Operational Inspections and First article inspections as needed
- Verify documentation in manufacturing areas to assure conforming product
- Pre-Shipment review as needed
- Verify Key QCP’s
- Perform finished product inspection as needed
- Perform net weight monitoring and/or verification as needed
- Maintain positive working relationships with supervisors, QA team members, production team members, and corporate personnel
- Communicate and align in house testing with corporate R&D personnel including test lot reports, guidance through the test procedure, gathering all information, reporting and analyzing
Key Requirements: - High School Diploma required; Associates degree or combination of experience and education preferred
- 3 years experience in the quality field in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Must be able to read measuring tools (micrometers, etc.)
- Must be able to interpret engineering prints
- Bilingual is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Quantitative and qualitative research skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Multi-task and manage conflicting priorities
- Good interpersonal skills
- Computer skills – Microsoft Office Products
