Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee quality assurance initiatives and maintain adherence to industry regulations.
- Execute thorough audits, conduct inspections, and carry out product evaluations.
- Analyze and resolve quality-related issues along with customer grievances.
- Supervise the functionality of product hold/rework procedures and record-keeping.
- Educate team members on quality assurance benchmarks and safety procedures.
- Collaborate actively with production units to elevate quality standards and streamline efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of five years of quality assurance experience in food manufacturing, with leadership roles considered a plus.
- HACCP/PCQI certification is necessary; BPC certification is advantageous or should be achievable.
- Comprehensive understanding of food safety practices, auditing, and quality management systems.
