Description: Our client is currently seeking a QUALITY ASSURANCE SUPERVISOR in MN.

Quality Assurance Supervisor (2nd Shift – Starting at 4:00 PM)

We are seeking a QA Supervisor (2nd Shift) to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Minnesota. This key leadership role will oversee daily quality activities on the production floor, coordinate quality assurance efforts, and provide guidance to maintain robust food safety and quality systems. The position emphasizes technical support, customer expectations, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.

This role involves direct supervision of QA Technicians and all production floor quality-related activities. The successful candidate will have strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems, including SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards, to ensure the consistent safety and quality of our products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Directly supervise QA Technicians, providing coaching, training, and development to support team performance and business objectives.
• Offer expert guidance on quality and food safety matters to Operations and QA teams.
• Communicate daily with food safety and quality technicians regarding production schedules and any emerging QA issues.
• Manage inventory of QC and laboratory supplies; coordinate training on new equipment or materials as needed.
• Review and maintain operational and quality documentation on a daily basis.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience in food manufacturing).
• Solid prior experience in Quality Assurance within a food production environment.
• Minimum 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends when needed.
