    Overview

    Reporting to the QA Manager, the QA Supervisor is responsible for coordinating daily Quality Assurance operations and supervising QA personnel to ensure compliance with internal procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and regulatory requirements. This role supports implementation and execution of Quality System processes through team leadership, workflow coordination, training oversight, and operational compliance activities.

    The QA Supervisor serves as a frontline quality leader, ensuring consistent execution of QA processes, timely follow-up of quality events, and effective communication between QA, Manufacturing, QC, and other departments.

    What You’ll Do

    • Supervise day-to-day QA activities and provide guidance, training, and support to QA team members
    • Coordinate QA workflow to ensure timely completion of quality-related activities and documentation
    • Support batch creation, as well as, record review activities for completeness and compliance with established procedures
    • Assist with the initiation, tracking, and follow-up of deviations, NCRs, CAPA, and change control records
    • Support investigations and root cause analysis activities in collaboration with QA and cross-functional teams
    • Review quality documentation, SOPs, and work instructions for accuracy and compliance
    • Support material review and disposition activities in coordination with QA leadership
    • Assist with validation and qualification activities, including protocol execution and documentation review
    • Maintain oversight of calibration tracking and compliance status
    • Support internal audits, inspections, and audit readiness activities
    • Track and report quality metrics and follow-up items
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, QC, Engineering, and Operations teams
    • Ensure training compliance and onboarding of QA personnel
    • Perform additional duties as assigned
    Requirements

    What We Require

    • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
    • 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
    • 2+ years of leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred
    • Experience coordinating quality system activities and supporting cross-functional quality initiatives
    • Strong knowledge of GMP requirements and quality systems
    • Experience supporting deviations, NCRs, CAPA, and change control processes
    • Experience reviewing quality documentation and batch records
    • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in OTC, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or personal care manufacturing
    • Experience supporting audits and regulatory inspections
    • Familiarity with eQMS systems and document control processes
    • Knowledge of validation and calibration programs
    • Understanding of data integrity principles and risk-based quality systems
