Quality Assurance Tech

Our client, a leading organization in the food production industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tech to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Tech, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the production and safety of food products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of quality and safety, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Maintain Quality Control documents and records on an ongoing basis
• Inspect all incoming products for quality, safety, and adherence to specifications
• Conduct organoleptic testing on finished and incoming products/ingredients
• Monitor the production floor for food safety and employee safety
• Perform Quality Control checks and complete related paperwork across departments

What's Needed?

• Previous experience in Quality or Continuous Improvement is preferred
• Intermediate computer skills
• Ability to multitask effectively and maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends and early mornings
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with all departments and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
