Quality Assurance Tech

Payrate: $45.00 - $47.00/hr
 
Summary:
The Company is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer (L4) to support manual system-level testing of robotic fulfillment solutions, including ToteASRS, IBIS, and related automation systems. You will work alongside software developers, hardware engineers, and fellow QA engineers to validate product quality across the development lifecycle.
 
Responsibilities:

• Create and execute test plans and test cases for robotics product components, ensuring comprehensive coverage across functional areas.
• Isolate, document, and validate defects; troubleshoot issues to help developers identify root causes efficiently.
• Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to understand technical architecture and assess how changes impact test scope and product behavior.
• Interpret and report testing results, advocating for quality at every phase of the development process.
• Execute manual testing on in-house test floors to verify that features meet quality standards prior to production deployment.
• Participate in design reviews and scoping sessions with development teams.
• Document findings and recommend improvements to testing approaches.
• Coordinate with QA team members to align on test coverage, share findings, and avoid duplication of effort.

 
Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience in manual testing of complex systems (robotics, automation, hardware-software integration, or a closely related domain preferred).
• Working knowledge of QA methodology and standard testing tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, or equivalent).
• Experience troubleshooting defects and performing root cause analysis.
• Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills — ability to work with technical teams and management to collect requirements and communicate results clearly.

 
Qualifications:

• Prior experience testing robotic systems, autonomous systems, conveyor/sortation systems, ASRS, or similar industrial automation environments.
• Familiarity with safety and compliance testing frameworks.
• Experience working in a fast-paced hardware-software co-development environment.
• Familiarity with tools and processes (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
• Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Perl) is a plus but NOT required — automation skills are not a requirement for this engagement.

 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $45.00 - $47.00/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
