Quality Assurance Technician - 2nd Shift Part Time
POSITION SUMMARY
Conduct and document all production line and laboratory testing. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee line start-up activities to ensure compliance to quality specifications.
- Monitor product and packaging specifications on all lines (cross-trained).
- Conduct on-going inspections for GMP compliance.
- Keep accurate records of production processes and testing data per Production Advice(s).
- Communicate and facilitate resolution of all out-of-specification issues with management and production employees.
- Isolate and tag all HOLD product generated during the shift.
- Perform all assigned testing requirements as trained and in the correct frequencies.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Will be required to pass a quality assurance math test.
- Able to read and write English.
- Strong communication, problem solving, and computer skills.
- Possess a high level of personal initiative and sound judgment.
- Able to work in extreme temperatures and wet/humid environments.
- Flexible to work extended hours and weekends.
- Able to follow through and complete assigned tasks.
- Team oriented.
- Able to distinguish tastes, colors, and smells to assure proper coloration, flavor, and smell of blended products.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE - High School degree or equivalent.
- College level education preferred.
- Previous QA experience preferred.
