Akkodis is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a Contract job with a client in Plaines, IL. The ideal candidate will have handson experience supporting a Quality Management System (QMS) within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment and be comfortable performing testing, batch record review, and audit support activities. This role supports product quality through testing, documentation review, and compliance with GMP, GLP, FDA, and ISO requirements.

Rate Range:$24/hour to $25/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Quality Assurance Technician job responsibilities include:

  • Conduct product testing, including testing to support complaint investigations and stability verification.
  • Review production and finished goods batch records (DHRs) for accuracy and completeness and ensure deviations are addressed prior to approval.
  • Generate and document product testing results reports and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Perform spotcheck inspections and audits of production operations and participate in the internal audit program.
  • Write, review, and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support document control and record retention activities.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ year of experience in a Quality Assurance role within the medical device industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
  • Ability to accurately follow procedures and document results with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and basic database or inventory systems).

Pay Details: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
