Position Summary: The Quality Assurance Technician verifies that manufactured products meet applicable drawings, codes, standards, customer specifications, and Flowtrend procedures. The role performs inspections and tests, maintains complete quality records and traceability, and coordinates the timely resolution of identified quality issues. Primary Functions: - Inspects manufactured products against technical drawings, OEM samples, visual standards, and Flowtrend procedures; records results and confirms conformance with applicable acceptance criteria.
- Performs inspection processes to ensure products meet specifications.
- Maintain accurate QA documentation, including Material Test Reports and Laboratory Test records, to ensure complete traceability.
- Manages and maintains precision Engineering Measuring Tools alongside up to date calibration records.
- Ensure that Components are properly assembled and tested prior to shipment.
- Initiates Discrepancy Reports and routes DRs to appropriate personnel for dispositioning.
- Identifies and documents discrepancies between drawings and manufactured products, then escalates findings to Engineering for review and resolution.
- Ensures quality control equipment is current up to date and that the quality room is always organized and clean.
- Evaluates returned merchandise (RMAs) for restocking, coordinating with customer service and the warehouse manager for accurate credits and inventory adjustments.
- Assist with customer-related technical product questions as well as internal technical assistance.
- Assists teammates during peak workloads to maintain operational efficiency and meet deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.

- General Knowledge of Microsoft Office, ACAD, ERP systems, and other computer software programs.

Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience inspecting fabricated stainless-steel components and assemblies.
- Experience with CMM programming and operation
- Working knowledge of precision measurement tools and inspection techniques
- Familiarity with welding inspection and surface finish requirements
- Ability to follow documented procedures and maintain accurate quality records.

Working Conditions: - Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
