Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Tester to support the development, management, and execution of testing deliverables and activities for a Loyalty Systems team. The QA Tester will work closely with the Project Manager, Test Manager, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure application deliverables meet defined business requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review business requirements, use cases, and related documentation to understand the scope of deliverables being tested.

• Create detailed test plans and test scripts to ensure development deliverables meet defined requirements and expectations.

• Communicate test progress, test results, outstanding issues, and action items to relevant stakeholders.

• Analyze test results and identify, document, and report defects.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Assist with test environment setup and test management activities in preparation for execution.

• Support smoke testing during production deployments.

• Develop and establish quality assurance measures, testing standards, and best practices for new development and application enhancements.

• Perform additional testing and quality assurance responsibilities as needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to validate IT processes through thorough and structured testing.

• 5+ years of direct experience as a QA tester supporting major application integrations and/or major application product releases.

• Strong knowledge of system testing best practices, methodologies, and quality assurance processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr.

• Experience with ad hoc query tools, automated testing tools, and reporting software.

• Previous experience working in the hospitality industry.

Education

• Four-year college degree or

• Equivalent extensive experience in application test planning and execution for enterprise applications.
