Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester for a Contract with a client in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of high-quality loyalty system solutions by planning, executing, and reporting on testing activities across multiple projects.

Rate Range: $45/Hour to $48/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Quality Assurance Tester Responsibilities include:

• Review business requirements, use cases, and technical documentation to ensure complete test coverage and alignment with project objectives.

• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate system functionality and business requirements.

• Identify, document, track, and communicate defects, testing progress, and quality-related issues to project stakeholders.

• Collaborate with business teams and project managers to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution.

• Perform smoke, integration, and system testing to ensure application stability during releases and production deployments.

• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of quality assurance processes, testing standards, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, system testing, and application release testing.

• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, defect management, test planning, and execution within enterprise application environments.

• Experience with testing tools and collaboration platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $48.00 per hour
