As a Quality Assurance Worker, you'll play an essential role in supporting manufacturing and warehouse operations, ensuring the production of natural honey products meets the highest quality standards. Collaborate with a team focused on sustainability and excellence, making a meaningful difference for health-conscious consumers.



What You'll Do


As a Quality Assurance Worker, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing line checks for product fill weight, metal detection, cap, seal, and label verification.
  • Verifying chemical application strengths for dispensing and foot bath processes.
  • Reviewing documentation to ensure product compliance with company specifications and customer expectations.
  • Creating Certificates of Analysis (COA) based on test results, supply COA, customer needs, and distributing accordingly.
  • Preparing samples for lab testing and customer review as needed.
  • Ensuring defective products are properly held to prevent sale or distribution.
  • Performing aseptic sampling and coordinating proper testing based on outlined specifications and priorities.
  • Conducting organoleptic testing—assessing flavor, odor, and physical characteristics of products.
  • Collaborating with Production to evaluate product quality, address emergent issues, and manage non-conformances.
  • Maintaining and managing finished product and raw sample retaining and disposal processes.
  • Conducting in-house quality testing of products.
  • Assisting Operations team with questions related to product quality, lot coding, COO, DOM, etc.
  • Evaluating expired products and overseeing product extensions if applicable.
  • Assessing materials under deviation and making quality-related recommendations.


What You'll Bring


The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • At least one year of experience in quality assurance or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree in food science or a similar discipline.
  • Ability to pass GMP, HACCP, and other food safety training.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset.
  • Laboratory, research, or R&D background is highly desirable.
  • Experience in food-related quality control is preferred.
  • Ability to taste-test a variety of food ingredients, including allergens, and provide sensory feedback on color, taste, aroma, and texture.
