The Quality Auditor I ensures product quality by conducting inspections, validating specifications, and identifying defects. This role supports production by approving in-process work, evaluating incoming materials, and communicating corrective actions while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Essential Functions:
Conduct quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
Approve in-process production and manage non-conforming products, including rework verification.
Perform first article inspections and weekly testing (e.g., wall hang).
Track and document inspection results, scrap, and audit materials.
Communicate quality issues and corrective actions with Operations and Production teams.
Participate in Quality, Safety, and Production meetings.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Review and approve incoming material quality as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of manufacturing experience.
Ability to follow instructions, prioritize work, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle).
Experience using measurement tools (calipers, tape measure) preferred.
