Job Title: Quality Auditor
JOB SUMMARY:
Performs various quality audits, including, Statistical Process Control & First Article
Inspection. Ensures that Manufacturing is performing to standard.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Receives and complies with verbal and written directions.
Performs and/or produces all work and/or product in conformance with G&F quality
management system.
Performs 1st piece, in-process, SPC and final audit inspections at various steps in the manufacturing process.
Places nonconforming materials on “hold” for Material Review Board or instructs
manufacturing departments on how to rework materials placed on “hold”. Notifies
floor supervisor of manufacturing processes that do not meet requirement or that vary from approved processes. Works with manufacturing to make scrap/rework decisions.
Checks product against label descriptions during final audit.
Ensures that Operators are performing to “Operator Inspection Sheet” standards.
Works with Operators to help resolve operator-related non-conformities.
Assists in the training of inexperienced Operators.
Assists Operators with labeling and production reporting.
Completes Quality Assurance log sheets and reports, including dimensional data, etc.
Prints labels needed on mainframe system as needed.
Perform studies and projects as directed and appointed by Quality Management.
Completes Quality Assurance log sheets and reports, including dimensional data, etc.
Complies with all G&F Safety Rules, Policies and Procedures.
