Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Clerk (Receiving Department) to ensure all incoming kit materials and special program parts are properly received, verified, and documented. This role plays a critical part in quality and inventory accuracy by confirming materials meet specifications and system records.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Receive and verify all incoming procurement materials and special program parts
- Inspect raw materials upon arrival to ensure quality and accuracy
- Perform 100% weight verification on designated critical parts
- Confirm all required documentation matches incoming shipments
- Create and maintain photo records for new or missing part numbers
- Run SAP reports to validate inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies
- Support defect containment and sorting activities as needed
- Follow all safety, quality, and process standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
What Success Looks Like
- Accurate and timely material receipt with minimal discrepancies
- Strong attention to detail in inspection and documentation
- Consistent alignment between physical inventory and SAP system records
- Quick identification and escalation of defects or variances
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and understand packaging specifications in English
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience reading blueprints or automotive part images (e.g., Ford systems)
- Previous experience in receiving, inspection, or warehouse operations
- Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory systems
