• Shift / Schedule: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

Job Summary

This is an urgent, 100% onsite Quality Complaints Senior Associate role based in Thousand Oaks, CA. The position is lab-based with no opportunity for remote work. The role involves receiving, evaluating, and managing product complaint return samples while authoring technical assessment reports and interfacing with various sites and business partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, clean, and evaluate product complaint return samples, including taking photos, X-rays, and performing written inspections.
• Interface with various sites and business partners.
• Manage complaint return sample inventory.
• Author technical assessment reports.
• Receive, open, and verify returned samples from patients and healthcare providers.
• Photograph and perform X-ray evaluations of the returned samples.
• Document a written inspection of the returned unit to submit in the GMP BioConnect System.
• File completed samples in storage.
• Maintain inventory through filing, creating transfer documentation, performing destruction and reconciliation cycles.
• Clean and prepare Biomailers for the mail center to ship to patients/HCP.
• Transfer units to the warehouse for shipment to other sites.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Basic Qualifications (minimum): High school diploma/GED + 4 years of work experience, OR Associate's degree + 2 years of work experience, OR Bachelor's degree + 6 months of work experience, OR Master's Degree

Required Experience

• Typically 2+ years of related quality assurance or manufacturing experience in a GMP pharmaceutical or medical device industry

Nice-to-Have Experience

• GDP (Good Documentation Practices) experience
• GMP experience
• Previous lab experience
• Complaints experience

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Role may involve periods of prolonged sitting and standing.
• Role may involve lifting boxes and storage containers of up to 50 lbs.
• Role may involve transporting samples to different buildings across campus.
