Quality Compliance Engineer II

This position is responsible for ensuring APC''''s operations, products, and processes comply with industry quality compliance regulations and internal quality standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Strong technical skills leading compliance audits and technical oversight for compliance to AS9100, NADCAP, DLA, UL, GIDEP and various customer audits.
• Regulatory Compliance Monitoring: Tracking and interpreting relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure quality organizational adherence.
• Quality Assurance and Control: Conducting internal audits, inspections, and quality monitoring to identify non-compliance or process gaps
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Evaluating potential compliance risks and recommending corrective actions or process improvements
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining records of compliance activities, audit findings, and corrective actions for internal and external review.
• Training and Guidance: Educating staff on compliance requirements and quality standards to foster a culture of regulatory adherence.
• Communication and interpersonal skills required to interface with personnel at various technical and managerial levels, helping to identify quality issues and collaboratively pursue solutions.
• Review and update internal documentation to assure compliance to industry specifications.
• Use root cause analysis tools and techniques, issue appropriate documentation, coordinate corrective action, and follow-up to assure effective solutions of problems.
• Communicate changes in QA policies and systems and develop and conduct education and training programs.
• Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned and may be required.

Requirements:

• BA/BS in a related field with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience preferably in manufacturing and/or engineering of Printed Circuit Boards and Assemblies.
• Experience as a lead or compliance auditor.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify compliance gaps, analyze data, and propose effective solutions
• Must be able to develop and implement project plans, and understand quality concepts and technologies.
• Must possess knowledge of related quality systems and specifications, e.g.; (ISO9001, AS9100, etc.)
• Computer skills: Proficient with internet use- required for data management and presentations.
• Must have excellent communication skills and ability/flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of PCB military and industry specifications preferred. (IPC, GEA, MIL etc.)
• Knowledge of Process Control techniques a plus (e.g., SPC, LEAN, 5S, etc.)
