Job Description
QC (Quality Control) Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform visual and mechanical inspections on incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products
- Inspect electronic components, server systems, and PCBA assemblies to ensure compliance with company and customer quality standards
- Identify defective, damaged, or non-conforming products and document quality issues accurately
- Use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and multimeters to verify measurements and specifications
- Complete quality reports, inspection logs, and production documentation with accuracy
- Follow SOPs, IPC standards, work instructions, and ESD safety procedures during inspections
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for production defects and quality failures
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, SMT, and Warehouse teams to resolve quality discrepancies
- Support audits, ISO compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor production processes to ensure products meet customer specifications and manufacturing standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety procedures
- Escalate recurring quality concerns to supervisors or quality engineers for further investigation
- Perform rework verification and final quality checks before shipment
- Enter inspection results and production data into computer systems and spreadsheets
- Assist with containment of non-conforming materials and ensure defective products are properly segregated

- Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and specifications
- Knowledge of manufacturing and quality control processes
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed
