GENERAL SUMMARY OF THE JOB
Quality Control ensures the delivery of high-quality products by performing dimensional, visual, and mechanical inspections throughout the manufacturing process and for customer requirements.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include performing quality checks at various stages, preparing metallographic samples, maintaining records, verifying conformance with specifications, supporting gage calibration, assisting with quality management systems, supporting PPAP processes, resolving certification issues, maintaining documentation, and supporting the QA team.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED include a high school diploma or GED, experience in quality, proficiency with measuring tools, knowledge of quality standards (ISO/QS/IATF), blueprint reading, teamwork, communication skills, and flexibility for OT or shift work. Basic math skills and familiarity with Google Workspaces are preferred.
