Quality Control Analyst I

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Core essential skill sets candidates must have to be considered for the role:
- BS or higher in science related discipline, chemistry is preferred
- Lab experience
- Recent College graduates welcome
Technical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Loading/unloading scientific glassware in dishwasher according to written procedures
- Handwashing glassware
- Inspection of glassware following cleaning to ensure it is safe ready for use
- Change out pipet soakers on a weekly basis
- Receive incoming samples
- Perform inspection of house cleaning checklist weekly
- Monitor and implement safety procedures as part of lab safety committee
- Perform routine and non-routine physical and chemical testing of commercial, validation and stability samples in accordance to written methodology
- Analyze data against approved specifications, notifying management of any OOS and aberrant results
- Actively participate in root cause problem solving during laboratory investigations, provide input for effective corrective and preventive actions
- Perform routine maintenance on lab equipment as needed
- Monitoring chemical and dry stock inventory
- Assist with ordering chemicals/materials
Compliance and Quality:
- Basic knowledge and understanding of USP, cGMP, and FDA regulations
- Create and maintain lab record documentation (notebooks and computer based) according to GMPs
- Demonstrate the philosophy of Right First Time
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow safety procedures and policies

- Provide feedback on systems and processes to promote continuous improvement and champion selected changes
