Quality Lab Technician – Day Shift | $25–$30/hr | Full-Time

Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Range: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Join Our Team as a Quality Lab Technician!

Are you passionate about science and quality control? Do you have a background in biology, chemistry, or a related field—or hands-on lab experience? We’re looking for a Quality Lab Technician to support our plant operations and ensure our products meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily and weekly sample analysis to ensure product quality and compliance.
  • Conduct batch certification testing and release of finished products.
  • Manage and prioritize testing of raw materials and in-process products (e.g., corn, starch, refinery).
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and legible test records in line with company policies.
  • Support operations with specialized testing during projects, trials, and surveys.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and follow up on quality actions.
  • Calibrate and monitor analytical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, food safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Investigate and resolve product nonconformities using root cause analysis tools.
  • Assist in training new lab personnel.
  • Conduct scheduled microbiological testing of products, water, and co-products.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred: Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related science field.
  • OR: Equivalent laboratory experience in sample testing and quality control.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with GMP, ISO, and food safety standards is a plus.
