WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?

As the Quality Control and Safety Manager, you manage the QC and Safety programs at the facilities you oversee, ensuring delivery of quality services, proper training of personnel, and a culture of continuous quality improvement. You proactively identify areas of potential process failures and swiftly initiate corrective actions to maintain high standards. Collaborating with site-level project managers and facility operations managers, you review quality and safety metrics while analyzing performance trends and customer feedback. You implement comprehensive quality management review processes, conduct inspections, and drive the Root Cause Analysis process to discover and implement best practices. Your routine includes performing safety checks throughout the facility to ensure employees are following safety procedures, lead tool talks, work with the Director of Enviromental Health & Safety on tracking training and incident reporting, and ensure subcontractors uphold rigorous quality and health & safety standards. With your keen eye for detail, you continually update quality and safety documentation, demonstrating your commitment to excellence and safety.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE OUR QUALITY CONTROL AND SAFETY MANAGER?

• A Bachelor's degree in science, quality, safety, or business-based programs (experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
• 5+ years of recent experience (within the past 7 years) in quality and safety management with operations & maintenance activities
• Experience working in buildings of at least a similar size (1M SF, high-rise) and characteristics of the building(s) to be operated and maintained
• Thorough working knowledge of regulatory agency quality assurance/quality control activities
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to read blueprints and as-built drawings
• Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, internet, etc.)
• Strong planning, organizing, and controlling skills
• Experience in technical operations management, in facility management systems, and/or the service industry is preferred
• Experience using Google Suites (Sheets, Docs, Drive) is desirable
• An existing HSPD-12 D badge or the ability to obtain one quickly is highly preferred
