Job description

Job Summary:

The Quality Control (QC) Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards and specifications. This role involves inspecting materials and finished products, identifying defects or deviations, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. The QC Inspector plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with industry regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

  • Use measuring tools and testing equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions and functionality.

  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs.

  • Identify non-conforming materials or products and report quality issues to the appropriate personnel.

  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

  • Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with safety and quality protocols.

  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.

  • Participate in internal audits and support regulatory compliance as required.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification is a plus.

  • Proven experience in quality control or inspection (1–3 years preferred).

  • Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 or GMP (depending on industry).

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Proficient in using inspection tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
