We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our client in Naperville. In this role, you will help ensure our fiber optic products meet the highest quality standards before they are shipped to customers and major data centers around the world. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will play a critical role in maintaining customer trust and product reliability.
You will perform inspections throughout the manufacturing process, operate specialized testing equipment, document quality results, and work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve issues quickly.
Location: Naperville
Schedule: Monday–Friday with 1 (Saturday per month)
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Perform in-process and final inspections of fiber optic connector terminations
- Measure and verify optical performance, including insertion loss and return loss
- Conduct line audits to ensure manufacturing processes meet quality and compliance requirements
- Record inspection results, test data, and document nonconforming materials for full traceability
- Initiate containment actions when quality issues are identified
- Support first article inspections and new product introduction (NPI) builds
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes
