Quality Control Inspector
Location: Carol Stream, IL
Pay: $19 $23/hr (based on experience)
Schedule:
Mon Thu: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
Fri: 6:00 AM 12:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Inspect manufactured parts, with emphasis on final inspection
Identify defects and tolerance deviations using work orders and drawings
Perform internal calibration and maintain quality standards
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Requirements
1 3 years of QC or related experience
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, PMI)
Physical Requirements
Lift small parts regularly (under 10 lbs.; occasional heavier lifting)
Frequent standing, bending, and movement
Use of PPE (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection)
Additional Expectations
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify defects
Work collaboratively with QC Supervisor as needed
