Quality Control InspectorJob Summary
Emplynet is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control Inspector to support manufacturing operations by ensuring products, components, and assemblies meet established quality standards and customer requirements. The Quality Control Inspector will perform inspections throughout the production process, identify defects, document quality issues, and work closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve problems and maintain high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, components, assemblies, and finished products for quality and compliance.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections according to established procedures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, Bills of Materials (BOMs), specifications, and work instructions.
• Use inspection and measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, multimeters, and torque tools.
• Identify defects, workmanship issues, missing or incorrect components, damage, labeling errors, and configuration problems.
• Document inspection results, defects, and test findings accurately in quality or production systems.
• Identify and properly handle nonconforming materials and products.
• Assist with First Article Inspections (FAI) and new-product quality verification.
• Support quality audits and maintain accurate inspection and quality records.
• Work with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to investigate and resolve quality issues.
• Assist with root-cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions.
• Verify that manufacturing processes are being followed according to established quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, quality control, inspection, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Familiarity with basic measurement and inspection tools.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to identify and communicate quality issues effectively.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
• Ability to perform repetitive inspection and assembly-related tasks.
• Ability to lift and handle materials or products weighing up to approximately 25 pounds.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing/production environment.

First shift: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday




Second shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday
