    Description

    Ziemek Dental Laboratory, a full-service dental lab with nearly 30 years of industry experience, is hiring! We have an opportunity for a Quality Control Technician to join our team in Olympia.  

    Our QC Technician inspects posterior and anterior restorations to ensure that all cases are fabricated to our quality standards and RX preferences, within customer deadlines. Our lab is 100% digital, so you will be working with the latest technology and processes. 

    Primary Duties include: 

    • Read and understand customer prescriptions and work orders. 
    • Communicate with customers on issues and return dates
    • Inspect dental restorations (crowns, bridges, implants, etc.) in the final stages of fabrication for quality, accuracy, and timeliness. 
    • Ensure correctness of shades, margins, occlusion, contacts, and other quality aspects of the restoration. 
    • Return cases that need to be corrected and provide feedback to team members who produce substandard work; provide feedback to Management of identified trends 
    • Work with other team members to identify and quickly address bottlenecks 
    • Utilize operational dental lab software. 

     

    Requirements: 

    • Prior experience as a dental assistant or in a dental lab required  
    • Knowledge of dental anatomy and related areas of dentistry (e.g. occlusion, dental materials, etc.)
    • Able to distinguish shades and see detail with margins, contacts, and related aspects of dental restorations 
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills 
    • Experience with operational lab software preferred 
    • Ability to work successfully both on a team and autonomously 

    Pay Range: $22 - $28 per hour, DOE
