Description
The Quality Control (QC) professional is responsible for ensuring that products, materials, and processes meet established quality standards and specifications. The role involves inspecting, testing, and monitoring production processes to maintain product consistency, safety, and compliance with internal and external quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process items, and finished products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
Conduct laboratory or field testing on materials and products as required.
Document inspection results, test data, and quality deviations accurately.
Identify, report, and help resolve quality issues, non-conformances, and defects.
Assist in developing and implementing quality standards, procedures, and guidelines.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure continuous improvement in product quality.
Maintain calibration and maintenance records for testing equipment and tools.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and company quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors degree in [relevant field: Science, Engineering, Food Technology, Pharmaceutical, etc.] or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in quality control, quality assurance, or related roles is preferred.
Strong knowledge of quality control methods, testing procedures, and industry standards.
Attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
Proficient in documentation, reporting, and use of quality tools/software.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Attributes:
Familiarity with ISO, GMP, or other relevant quality standards.
Ability to train and guide production staff on quality practices.
Continuous improvement mindset and proactive approach to quality issues.
Working Conditions:
May involve work in laboratory, production, or warehouse settings.
Some lifting, standing, and repetitive tasks may be required.
Safety gear and adherence to safety protocols are mandatory.
